TEENAGER: The simple solution for your teen’s online protection
As a parent, you may find it difficult to protect your teenagers online when they often have a better understanding of the Internet and technology than you do.
According to the NSPCC, more cases of grooming and meetings are being started online.
Up to one in 12 of British children have gone on to meet someone in reality after they first made contact on the Internet – scary but true.
CYBERminder™ enables you, as a parent, to support your teenager through sensibly restricting their access to inappropriate websites – without any technical knowledge.
The software blocks access incredibly intelligently using a range of considerations, but to summarise, here is a very basic list of the types of websites and services that your child will be protected from:
- Adult material, themes and activity
- Pornography
- Gambling sites
Your teenager can still access Google, Yahoo! and Bing Safe Search engines. This ensures that searching the Internet provides your teenager with content that is appropriate, and of interest, to their age.

How easy is CYBERminder™ to install and use?
CYBERminder™ can be installed and operated without any technical knowledge and protecting your child takes just four simple steps:
- Insert the SUPERVISE (blue) key in any USB port on your PC
- Follow the simple onscreen instructions
- Remove the SUPERVISE (blue) key from your PC
- Insert the PROTECT (orange) key into any USB port on your PC
For unrestricted access you simply remove the PROTECT key and plug in your SUPERVISE key. If no CYBERminder™ key is plugged into your PC then your computer will continue to function normally but will not be able to access the Internet.
Your teenager is now protected – it’s that easy!
